This holiday season, remember it’s not all gatherings and leftovers for everybody.

When we moved to Texas almost 3 years ago we didn’t know anyone and there was this pandemic thing going on (maybe you heard about it), so we didn’t go back to KC for any of the holidays. Let me just tell you that ! We didn’t spend one holiday alone. We were invited to spend each holiday with a different family out here and had never felt more loved.

This time of year can be really lonely for people. One way to make Cooke County a better place to live is to make it less difficult for people you know.

Create a little more room at your table this season and invite a neighbor, a coworker, or friend who you think could stand feeling less lonely this year.
